The Caritas institution for handicapped People in Retz, an institution of Caritas of archdiocese Vienna has administrated an art-group since 1992. In the Weinviertel the handicapped artists have found their home and are feeling themself as native. With their art-acts they have already gained much recognition in several Exhibitions far beyond the borders of the Weinviertel.

This year art is presented from handicapped people in context of the Weinviertel-Festivals for the first time. RADOST = JOY on producing art and on artistic expression leads handicapped artists from austria and the czeck republic together. The works of art which are made on this symposium will get immediately presented in the World Wide Web. So an exhibition of produced acts, texts, paintings and videos is beeing envolved across national boundaries.

The work of the art-group negotiate with Radost not only personal barriers of expression but also physical and geographical borders.
